根據東方日報報導，一名帖主在社交平台上分享了親眼所見的心酸事件，他表示昨天（14日）下午回家路過一間小學時，看見一位穿著送餐員外套的爸爸騎著Motor來接送小孩放學。
本來時一個溫馨的場面，結果那位外表看起來只要5或6年紀的孩子卻說：「爸爸你不要穿那個（送餐員外套）來接我，這樣很丟臉耶！」 ，場面突然變得非常尷尬！
之後，這名父親不斷地道歉，並拜託了很久，女兒才不甘不願地上車。帖主指出看到這個場景，他的心情複雜又心酸，並詢問眾人 「穿著送餐員外套來接小孩放學真的很丟臉嗎？」
部分網民回應表示很正常也應該站在小孩的角度著想：
「超丟臉，小孩在學校就是要承受異樣眼光，人家爸爸開賓士，我的爸爸是熊貓」 「同儕間會被笑，倒是會發生」 「小孩最大的壓力就是來自同儕」 「大人會覺得就是份工作，但小孩時候很難，同儕壓力無解」 「小孩一定會攀比，而且要小孩體諒大人，不知道是大人悲哀更多，還是小孩悲哀」
而有些網民卻對此不認同：
